Request Vendor Referrals

How we vet vendors before recommending

Vendors on our recommended list have completed at least three transactions or projects with our clients without significant issues. We don’t accept referral fees or kickbacks — the recommendations reflect actual experience, not commercial arrangement. If a vendor underperforms repeatedly, we remove them from the list and let the client know directly rather than suppressing the information. The list updates quarterly based on ongoing client feedback.

Categories most clients ask about

The most frequently requested vendor categories are property managers (for owners renting their property), snow removal services (essential from October through April), handymen for routine maintenance, and roof inspection specialists. We also maintain contacts for less common needs: chimney sweeps for wood-burning fireplaces, heat tape technicians for problem ice damming, and well water testing services for properties on private wells. For specialty needs not covered here — like restoration of historic mountain cabins or solar installations on alpine properties — ask directly and we’ll connect you with the most relevant local expertise even if it’s outside our standard list.

When you need help finding the right vendor

Even with a vetted directory, matching the right vendor to a specific property situation can be difficult. A handyman who excels at routine maintenance may not be the right call for a complex deck rebuild; a property manager who handles standard short-term rentals may not be set up for ultra-luxury concierge service. When in doubt, ask us before booking — a five-minute conversation often saves a misallocation that costs hundreds or thousands. We don’t charge for vendor recommendations and we don’t mind being asked even if you’re not currently a transaction client of ours.
